Job description
Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to till and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and equipment and maintain grounds and landscaping; Mix materials, dump solutions into machinery to apply NH3, spread fertilizer, spray chemical; Speak and understand English.
Special Requirements
One (1) month recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
