Job description

Recreation Attendants will be responsible for understanding and enforcing all Club policies, rules and regulations by explaining policies to members and guests (and relaying non-compliance with policies to leadership), monitoring all beach areas, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and members by enforcing displayed rules, setting up and maintaining towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and other amenities, cleaning beach areas, maintaining all public areas of beach facilities, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in all work areas. Recreation Attendants will assist with planning, organizing, and leading appropriate children’s beach activities including games, arts & crafts, sand activities, assisting members with water sports equipment such as paddle boards, kayaks, and floatation devices, and ensure proper set up, instruction, monitoring, safety, storage, and returns. Recreation Attendants will also promptly clear food and beverage items from beach chairs and tables. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00AM to 3:00PM or 2:00PM to 10:00PM. Shift hours may vary. Please see the attached job description for additional details.

Special Requirements

No experience required. Previous waterfront experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club is preferred but not required. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check and drug screening at employers expense.
