Job description

Housekeeping Attendants will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms which includes removing used linens and replacing them with clean ones, dusting and sanitizing surfaces, making the beds, vacuuming the carpets, removing garbage from bins, removing room service trays, dishes, and carts to the designated service landings, restocking used amenities such as toiletries, shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, coffee, tea, and sugar sachets, and picking up and delivering guest request items on a timely basis such as irons, ironing boards, cribs and roll-aways. Additionally, Housekeeping Attendants will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the restrooms in the guestrooms (showers/bathtubs/toilets) and public areas. Additional responsibilities include keeping all guest corridors neat by wiping mirrors, furniture, elevators, and doors so they are clean and mark-free, emptying ashtrays, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming hallways, service elevator landings, stairwells, and linen storage rooms, as well as replacing paper products in public restrooms.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am to 2:00pm, 8:00am to 4:00pm, or 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of housekeeping experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employers expense.
