Job description
Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Trap and destroy pests, such as moles, gophers, and mice, using pesticides in and around farm buildings and vehicles. Maintain farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Drive to town on occasion to pick up pest control supplies. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 2 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
