Job description
Help protect cattle from winter elements such as sleet, snow, ice, freezing temperatures; move snow; freshen pens to protect against cold stress; ensure that water troughs are thawed and clean, prevent slippery areas; replace bedding as necessary to avoid contamination and disease; distribute feed to cattle; drive equipment such a tractor with feed wagon; mix and grind in prescribed portions; assist with birthing; repair and maintain buildings, fences, and other structures such as corrals, feeding/watering facilities, equipment. Must speak and understand English.
Special Requirements
Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. . Lift up to 50 lbs.
