Job description
Cooks will produce high-quality food according to recipes & menus, or perform assigned special tasks, in a timely, organized manner. Cooks will prepare, season & cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant. Cooks will ensure a high level of sanitation & safety at all times.
Special Requirements
No minimum education or training required. Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. Must be able to work at least a 5-day workweek. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required. Must be able to obtain ServSafe Food Handlers Certification. Each applicant (U.S. and H-2B workers alike) must complete the Employers standard online employment application as part of the hiring process. The application is uniformly required of all candidates and does not impose additional or different requirements on U.S. workers. The workers will be subject to drug testing upon reasonable suspicion, paid by the employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. The workers are subject to employment criminal background checks, paid by the employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Sunday to Saturday, rotating and varying 8-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM. Workdays and shift times may vary with occupancy and events.
