Shrimp Processors

Job description

Workers will place shrimp on tables for de-heading, peeling; deveining; sorting and placing into containers; pack with ice; place containers onto pallets and wrap for shipping; dispose of shrimp shells in designated area(s); lift/carry up to 50 lbs. *Following is an expanded job description regarding load/unloading duties: Workers will assist with unloading raw product (shrimp) from boats or trucks and place in processing area or onto tables to be processed. Workers will also assist with loading finished products into refrigerators or freezers for storage. Workers will assist with loading finished products onto trucks for shipment.

Raise/bonus at employer's discretion depending on production levels, experience and/or performance.

Employer provides transportation to and from all plant locations. There is no itinerary involved as travel is only between plants located in Pamlico County at 66 Cross Rd, Grantsboro, NC and 28 North First St., Vandemere, NC.

Special Requirements

Lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employer maintains a workplace free from the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, and unauthorized controlled substances.
