Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

Workers will be required to drive tractors to prepare fields for planting sugarcane, putting out fertilizer, pull trailers for hand planting sugarcane, drive tractors during the harvest, perform minor repair and maintenance on farm equipment, cleaning equipment, shovel work, perform field sanitation duties, etc. General farm labor, such as shovel, drainage, cleaning shop, as well as any other general farm labor that may arise from the operation of a sugarcane farm will be required. Drug test may be performed post hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. Worker must abide all posted work and safety rules. Workers must be physically able to perform all duties described.
