Job description
Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner
Present menus and explain menu items, specials, and beverages
Take food and beverage orders accurately
Enter orders into point-of-sale systems
Serve food and beverages to guests
Monitor guest dining experience and respond to requests promptly
Prepare tables before and after guest service
Process guest payments and provide receipts
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and tables
Refill beverages, condiments, utensils, and supplies
Communicate guest orders and special requests to kitchen staff
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Work efficiently during high-volume meal periods and peak tourism operations
Special Requirements
No education or experience required. Employer will provide on-the-job training. Must be able to stand and walk for extended period; life and carry up to 25 pounds; communicate effectively with customers and coworkers; maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service. Must comply with employer policies regarding food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.
