Job description

Operating large farm machinery and primarily John Deere equipment equipped with Greenstar GPS for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, harvesting of grain and oilseed crops such as rice, corn, soybeans; driving truck or tractor with trailer attached to move crops or equipment to designated locations; unloading grain onto conveyor to storage bins or elevators; assessing field conditions and crop maturity for adjusting down pressure of openers and threshing settings of combines; assisting with the installation, operation, and maintenance of irrigation systems for watering crops; upkeep and repairs to equipment to ensure appropriate in field operation; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to worksite.
