Job description

The employer is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to assist with the harvest season (including pre and post-harvest). Duties include laying plastic, planting, staking, tying, pruning, harvesting, packing, clean-up of crops, general clean-up, field walking, and operating farm equipment. Other job duties include shovel work, replanting, weeding, irrigation installation and removal, freeze protection of crops, dumping crop into containers, post-harvest clean-up, pulling plastic and stakes, and other general farm labor. Crops include peppers, cabbage, squash, watermelon, sweet corn, broccoli, eggplant, cucumber, pickles, green beans, okra and tomatoes. Other crops include herbs (such as basil, mint, dill, cilantro, parsley, other herbs), Shishito pepper, Swiss chards (green and rainbow), micro greens, leafy greens, squash flower and edible flowers. Workers may occasionally assist with non-commercial meal preparation, cleaning, and maintenance activities for employer-provided worker housing facilities. A few workers may also work on an animal farm performing animal feeding and care, cleaning enclosures, maintaining agricultural property and ranch/farm upkeep. Workers should follow safety and farm instructions. This job will be done under varying outdoor extreme weather conditions such as heat, direct sunlight, humidity, cold weather, possible rain, wind, and exposure to pollen, soil, mud, dust and other natural elements. Repetitive physical conditions such as prolonged walking, standing, heavy bending, stooping, reaching and lifting will be involved on a regular basis. 132 workers needed to start on 8/16/26; 50 workers needed to start on 9/1/26; and the remaining 80 workers needed to start on 10/1/26.

Special Requirements

Workers must be dependable and punctual and have the ability to stand, bend, and work for long periods outdoors. They must pay attention to detail and quality. Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work.
