Job description

***RFI Response***
The opening, closing, and weekly side work duties performed by Food Runners include
setting up and stocking service stations before meal periods, maintaining adequate supplies
during service, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, removing trash, restocking items for the
next shift, and organizing service and storage areas. Tools, equipment, and materials used
include serving trays, tray stands, plates, utensils, cups, napkins, condiments, garnishes,
cleaning cloths, brooms, mops, garbage cans, and sanitizing solutions.

***Original Duties***
Food Runners will be responsible for delivering food to the guest, ensuring all dishes match the ticket including modifiers and special requests, check quality of plate presentation, communicate with servers and supervisors regarding guest requests, set up the line for service of each meal period, maintain pars throughout the shift, maintain cleanliness standards of work area and throughout the restaurant, complete opening, closing, and weekly side work duties, and garnish dishes as necessary.

Special Requirements

Must be able to: Walk and stand for the duration of shift, carry glass racks of 25 lbs, carry trays up to 40 lbs, climb up/down stairs/inclines. Must be able to speak, and read the English language and communicate in a clear and congenial manner, with guests, visitors, and employees. Must be able to work in a consistently fast paced and loud environment.
