Job description
The worker will be working with rice crop. The more descriptive duties include, "the worker will perform manual agricultural labor related to the planting, growing, irrigating, and harvesting of rice crop. Duties include operating and maintaining irrigation systems, monitoring water flow and system capacity, adjusting irrigation equipment, and checking fields to ensure crops receive the proper amount of water. The worker will operate tractors and other farm equipment used in the production of rice. Additional duties include planting, weeding, pruning, thinning, harvesting, loading and unloading crops, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and performing general field and farm maintenance." Please note employer abides by 8. Cal. Code Regulations Section 3437, 3456(b-c).
Special Requirements
3 months experience operating Tractor
3 months experience operating combine
3 months of Aqua Ammonia application
3 months GPS Land Levelling
Current Aqua Training Certificate
Proficient English speaking/communication (applicant must have sufficient English language skills to understand instructions and communicate effectively).
The employer requires the applicant to have experience in each of the above-mentioned area, which is less than 2 years' experience.
