Job description
Operating large farm equipment and primarily John Deere machinery equipped with GPS such as tractor, sprayer, combine, planters for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, moving, storing, harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as rice, corn, cotton, soybeans; drives truck or tractor with trailer attached to move crops or equipment to designated locations; unload grain into storage bins or elevators; perform routine maintenance and repairs to machinery, ensure proper operation; walking fields pulling off-type weeds; assisting with the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems for watering crops; carrying poly and placing at specified locations in the field; driving farm vehicle; minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
