Job description

Lodgekeepers will be responsible for cleaning all assigned public/common areas, performing a variety of cleaning activities, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, cleaning windows, doors, railings and high-visibility areas, restock bathroom supplies and lodge amenities, monitor and tidy high-traffic areas, assist with minor setup tasks for meetings, small events, and guest needs, report maintenance or safety concerns to management, and provide directions or basic guest assistance. Will notify managers if they come across building systems that need repair or attention. Lodgekeepers will move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or with hand trucks. They will remove pool covers, pick up trash and towels left behind, and vacuum and skim the pool. Will perform very light maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing lightbulbs, unclogging toilets, and similar minor touch-ups, to help keep lodges in good working order. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am – 2:00pm, 9:00am – 5:00pm, or 3:00pm – 11:00pm. Shift hours may vary.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least of three (3) months of housekeeping experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club.
