Job description
Employees will keep the outside of both private commercial buildings (office buildings, retail centers, etc.) and residential buildings in clean and orderly condition by removing snow from sidewalks, driveways, yards, or parking areas, using snow shovels, snow blowers, leaf blowers, rakes, ice chippers, or salt spreaders; gather and empty trash and debris by hand or with a trash picker; fall/winter storm cleanup including clearing debris from grounds; and dormant tree/shrub winter pruning. Clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools when not in use.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Hours may vary depending on snowfall. Must work Saturday, when necessary and be on-call during storm events. Employer-paid post-hire upon suspicion of use and post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
