Job description
Workers will perform a variety of landscaping tasks using hand or power tools or equipment. Duties may include any combination of the following: mowing, planting, transplanting, digging, edging, mulching, weeding, brush clearing, pruning, and trimming. Load/unload plant materials and equipment. Prepare trees and shrubs for digging by tying or wrapping root balls as necessary; secure with twine or staples, Performs any other duties involved in the maintenance of plant materials and nursery stock and maintenance of holding yards and shipping areas. For any nursery-related duties, the workers will use a majority of plant materials and nursery stock not grown by the employer.
Special Requirements
Requires three months of experience in the job described. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
