Job description
Feed and groom horses, ride horses to pen and rope and doctor sick cattle. Drive tractors to cut and bale hay, shredding pastures, running skid steers and dozers. Mow and weed eat. Welding on pens and equipment, inspect, maintain and repair farm structures and fences, clean and maintain animal housing areas and grounds, storage facilities and farm equipment, maintain vehicles and pastures, tractors and implements. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping May be required to take post hire random drug and/or alcohol tests, at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. May be required to submit a post hire employer paid criminal background check. Failure to comply or felony convictions that the employer reasonably believes will impair safety of others on the worksite will result in immediate termination. The hours listed represent the normal work schedule. Due to the nature of the duties and weather it is the prevailing practice to work substantially more, less or different hours than those listed, sometimes for extended periods of time. When the number of hours for a week exceeds the number listed then, the worker may be offered, but not required, to work more hours. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on the weekend, a worker’s Sabbath or federal holidays. Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time.
