Farm Equipment Mechanic

Job description

Duties include but are not limited to the following: Grain cleaning and snow removal. Examine equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions. Dismantle defective machines for repair. Repair or replace defective parts. Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments, as necessary. Clean and lubricate parts. Test and replace electrical components. Tune or overhaul engines. Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance. Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning.

The employer may choose to pay workers, regardless or origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.

Possible weekend/holiday work.

Special Requirements

Must be 18 years of age. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the
United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull,
unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas of intended employment. Variable weather conditions may apply. Bonus potential
based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer. Employees are expected to keep employer
provided vehicles clean and free of trash. Workers may not post or remove notices, signs, or other instructions
from the employers bulletin boards or the employers property without specific authorization from the employer. Only workers may live in employer-provided.. See Addendum
