Job description
Wean, feed, and monitor the health of calves. Load feed wagon, fill feed bunks, move feed bunks, as needed, move cattle from pasture to pasture. Maintain cattle equipment, cattle buildings, cattle pens, cattle yards, and cattle fences. Drive to town on occasion to pick up cattle supplies. Must be able to lift a 75 pound calf.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
