Job description

Maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, and
irrigation systems. Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools. Record details of
repairs made and parts used. Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing
operation and making adjustments, as necessary. Clean and lubricate parts. Examine and
listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with employer to locate and diagnose
malfunctions. Repair or replace defective parts. Repair bent or torn sheet metal. Drive to town
on occasion to pick up parts. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of
operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug
screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Frequent stooping is required.
Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English.
Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license
