Job description

RFI Response: The plows used are walk-behind push mowers that have plow attachments and are used to clear sidewalks and small parking lots.

Original Job Duties: Employees will keep the outside of both private commercial buildings (office buildings, retail centers, etc.) and residential buildings in clean and orderly condition by removing snow from sidewalks, driveways, yards, or parking areas, using snow shovels, snow plows, snow blowers, leaf blowers, rakes, ice chippers, or salt spreaders; gather and empty trash and debris by hand or with a trash picker; fall/winter storm cleanup including clearing debris from grounds; and dormant tree/shrub winter pruning. Clean and perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools when not in use.

Special Requirements

Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
