Job Title: Cattle Farm Laborer

Job Duties:
Feed and care for cattle; prepare and distribute hay and feed; monitor cattle health and assist with treatment of sick animals. Receive and handle calves arriving from sale barns and assist with vaccinations, branding, sorting, and processing. Clean and maintain barns, pens, feeding areas, and livestock facilities. Operate tractors and agricultural equipment used for feeding, livestock care, and snow removal. Remove snow as necessary to maintain access to cattle, feed, water, barns, pens, and agricultural facilities.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Employer shall Provide Necessary Training to worker. Workers Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers' expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Repetitive movements is required.
