Property maintenance: Routine cleaning and upkeep of the self-storage facility and surrounding grounds, including grounds clean-up, debris pickup, winter storm clean-up, snow and ice removal, and spreading salt or ice-melting materials.

Load/unload equipment and materials: Load and unload equipment and materials used to perform the cleaning and winter maintenance duties described above.

Clean public areas: Clean restrooms and other public areas, clean around the grounds and dumpster areas, haul trash to designated dumpster areas, and clean out and clean abandoned storage units as necessary.

Tools, equipment, and materials: Rakes, ice picks, shovels, brooms, blowers, small hand tools, salt, and ice-melting materials.

Perform maintenance and cleaning duties indoors and outdoors at self-storage facility. Workers must perform a variety of tasks including any combination of the following: property maintenance, winter storm clean-up, debris pickup and snow/ice removal. Use hand tools and equipment such as rakes, ice picks, shovels, and blowers. Spread salt on walkways and other areas. Load/unload equipment and materials. Clean public areas, pick up refuse outdoors, haul trash, wash trash cans and/or dumpsters, clear out/clean floors and walls of storage units as necessary. Entry level; requires supervision. No exp req' d/will train.

Special Requirements

Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random. Must possess or be able to obtain U.S. drivers license within 30 days of hire.
