Job description
10 Temporary Ground Person positions available; need starts April 1, 2021 and lasts through December 1, 2021, at $16.60 per hour at least with overtime offered regularly at $24.90 at least. Position is temporary and fulltime.
Employer provides 40 hours work weekly. Work shift is Monday thru Friday, 8am to 4pm, with overtime optional. Ground Persons perform important duties such as ground-level pruning and trimming, also collecting and hauling out debris, as well as applying protective mulch, and using the chipper; also loading and unloading crew vehicles.
Ground Persons also weed, rake, dig, and water. Physical activities requiring bending, twisting, reaching.
Attendance at a Safety Briefing is required at the beginning of each work day. Ground Persons are exposed to outdoor weather conditions. No education, or experience, or training required. The position is non-agricultural and entry-level.
