Job description
Workers will perform commercial and residential maintenance including fall/winter storm cleanup, shovel, throw, and plow snow. Chip ice, spread salt, apply salt treatments to pavement and walks. Snow/ice equipment maintenance. Use hand tools and equipment such as snow shovel, hand plow, snow thrower, salt spreader, and ice chippers. Entry level; requires supervision.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Post-hire background checks may be required of foreign and domestic workers based on contract requirements. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
