Job description
Perform duties such as Feeding cattle. Working and vaccinating cattle. Maintaining feed
equipment. Inspecting livestock for illness and injury. Maintaining winter fences. Opening
frozen water tanks. Snow removal. Prepping barns for cattle and calving. Calving begins
middle of March. Cleaning barns. Moving cattle back to summer pasture in May. May need to
drive to town to pick up cattle supplies. Farming with: Beef Cattle. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of
operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug
screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing
and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience
relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety
