Job description
One temporary position. $14.26 per hour + housing at no cost to the worker. A signed contract may be required. Returning workers may be offered longevity pay and/or bonus 3/4 time guarantee. Work tools, supplies and equipment will be provided at no coat to the worker. Transportation and subsistence expenses to worksite provided by employer or paid by employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Must be able to ride horses and or operate an ATV in order to move livestock safely. Provide proof of 3 months prior experience. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Attend to livestock including feed, water, assess herd health, vaccinate, assist with calving, move livestock between pastures, casteration, identification marking and shipping. Maintain fences, corrals, buildings and livestock equipment. Clean barns and stalls. Knowledge of irrigation, planting, and harvesting of hay. Light mechanical skills preferred. Longer hours and some night shifts during calving season. Workers will be expected to work in climatic conditions normally assiciated with Colorado, which may include, dusty, windy, etc.
