Job description
Clean seeds.
Remove dirt, sticks, and leaves from the seeds.
Fill and weigh bags.
Fill bulk containers.
Clean and maintain seed machines and work area.
Drive to town on occasion to pick up seed cleaning supplies.
Farming with barley and wheat.
No CLD required and no commercial truck driving required.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen at employers' expense due to expensive tools and equipment on the farm. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to expensive tools and equipment on the farm. Failure to pass criminal background check and/or drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
