Job description
Workers will be required to prepare crawfish bait in boxes of up to 100 pounds each day for the
next day. Workers will both walk and operate motorized crawfish boats collecting the crawfish,
loading and unload crawfish sacks weighing up to 40 pounds all day. Workers will walk and
ride fields daily monitoring the water levels and making repairs as needed using a shovel or
tractor to maintain the farm land. Workers will also assist in the rice and soy bean crops as
need which could include operating equipment, walking fields, leveling grain bins, cleaning,
painting, and any other work associated with the farm operation. Workers will help to maintain
the property using lawnmowers both push and riding, spraying grass, and using weed eaters and UTVs as needed.
Special Requirements
A valid drivers license will only be required if the employee needs to operate company vehicles, not everyone will need to drive. Drug testing will only be required in the
case where there is a workplace accident or the employee is unable to perform his job duties due to suspected impairment. Drug testing will be at the expense of the employer.
