Job description
The Installer is responsible for accepting scheduled dispatches for installations, and service tickets. Install and service residential smart home systems. Job shadow experienced Installation Professionals before accepting own installs. Use networking devices to increase Wi-Fi connectivity. Count, accept, and deploy security and automation equipment and inventory for installs/service. Attend daily meetings before inventory stock-up. Perform Job Security Analysis (JSA) before and during installations, to ensure safety protocols are being followed. Accept dispatches to install smart home equipment and provide after-sales service. Install/service control hub and wireless/hard-wired smart home sensors (for doors, windows, motion detection, glass break detection, smoke detection, carbon monoxide detection, flood detection, medical pendants). Install/service Doorbell cameras, outdoor cameras, Indoor cameras, and networking hard drives, as well as run camera wire in a professional manner. Install/service z-wave devices like door locks, thermostats, overhead garage door controllers, and lamp modules. Test all equipment and sensors, to make sure they are working correctly, and connected to central monitoring station. Teach customer how to use the smart home system in conjunction with the smart phone app. Return and service any accounts if the customer, marketing representative, or scheduling department schedules a time for Installation Professional to perform a service ticket.
Special Requirements
Travel to prospective customer locations in Tarrant County, Texas MSA. Saturday work when required.
