Job description

Cleans condominium and hotel rental units during guest stays and cleans and prepares both types of units for new arrivals; clean pubic areas of resort buildings.

Workers are paid hourly during training, and then a piecework wage thereafter based on the rooms cleaned. Wages could rise depending on the productivity of the worker, and a higher wage could result, but will not go below the hourly wage get forth above. Workers are paid every two weeks. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law but will make no other deductions. Raises and bonuses available based on performance or length of service with employer. In addition to the piecework wage, housekeepers may from time to time receive tips directly from guests.

The employer does not provide housing or board during the term of employment however the employer does have a limited number of shared housing units available for rent by seasonal workers at a cost to the worker of $60.00 per week plus the cost of utilities or $72.00 per week for units which include utilities.
Workers receive discounts on food, resort recreation activities and on resort lodging when it is available.

Special Requirements

The days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and the level of business at the resort but will generally be 5 days per week with rotating days off from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with rotating days off approximately 40 hours per week with some overtime. The business is open 7 days per week and weekend and holiday work will be required.
