Landscape Laborer

Job description

Plant trees, plants, and shrubs. Install landscape materials and sprinkler systems. Prune, weed, spread mulch, mow, weedeat, edge, and cleanup worksite. All other job duties related to the Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers position pursuant to 37-3011.

F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 40 hrs/wk; OT varies; 5 days/wk (Mon-Fri; weekend hours may be offered); 7:00 am to 7:00 pm; Schedule varies.

F.b.9a: Workers will be paid no less than $17.78 per hour. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary depending on weather or other conditions and will be paid no less than $26.67 per hour.

F.c.1: The H-2B Temporary Landscape Laborers will perform job duties at 2383 Pilot Knob Road, Mendota Heights, MN 55120 and at multiple worksites within the following geographic areas: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Le Sueur, Ramsey, Scott, Washington, and Wright counties within the Twin Cities metropolitan area and Rice County within the Southeast Minnesota nonmetropolitan area.

F.d.1: Employer will provide daily transportation from the shop at 2383 Pilot Knob Road, Mendota Heights, MN 55120 to and from worksites, or employee may report directly to the worksite on their own.

Special Requirements

No formal education, training or experience required. On-the-job training will be provided. Able to lift 50 pounds.
