Job description
Workers must have 3 month's experience in working with honey bees. One reference is required to verify experience. Workers will spend most of the workdays during the contract period in the field, tending to and caring for honeybees that are placed in fields primarily for pollination purposes. Prospective employees must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively and must be clear of any allergy related to honeybees/pollen. Workers will assist in all aspects of Commercial Pollination by use of honeybees which includes, but is not limited to: *Knowledge in operating forklifts and vehicles used to move hives and other equipment. *Loading/unloading hives from trucks and in some cases, semi-trucks *Move/Haul honeybees to and from orchard/yard locations *Feeding Hives *Splitting hives, which i9ncludes going through/arranging frames and proper queen placement *General maintenance of equipment
Special Requirements
Must be able to provide references to verify experience. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
