Job description
We own and operate a cow/calf operation, as well as a grower yard. Our typical growing yard season is October-May. We have 3,000 acres of pasture that our feeder yard and calf crop turn out to during the summer. Employee will be feeding, processing, and doctoring cattle from November-April. In April we will turn them out to pasture. After they are turned out we will be checking cattle, hauling water with a pickup and trailer, and feeding salt/mineral through July. Employee will assist and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employee will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.
Special Requirements
Employer will conduct post-hire, random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Job requires a regular drivers license. Requires 3 months experience.
