Job description
Workers will perform commercial and residential landscape maintenance including fall/winter storm cleanup, plow, shovel, and throw snow. Tasks include trimming, planting, fertilizing, raking, mulching, leaf removal, chip ice, spread salt, apply salt treatments to pavement and walks. Snow/ice equipment maintenance. Use hand tools and equipment such as snow shovel, walk-behind plow, snow thrower, salt spreader, ice chippers.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 75 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire background check required of foreign and domestic workers. Post-hire motor vehicle record check required only of foreign and domestic workers who drive company vehicles (driving is not a requirement of all workers in the position). Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
