Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Repack supervisor, workers will perform duties such as bin dump operator, case erecting, tote filling, and palletizing.
I. Job Duties:
A.. Bin Dump-Employee will engage in pushing bins around on the floor and sometimes load the bin dump
with a pallet jack. They will be required to push the button to dump the bin and use a product rake to
smooth out the flow of product.
B. Case Erecting Employees will be required to build totes and feed the line
C. Tote Filling: Employees will be required in filling and packing product into the cases and slide the cases along the roller conveyor
D. Palletizing-Employees will engage in stacking totes onto pallets and banding them together, as well as
move empty pallets into position while also using equipment to move full pallets.
E. Equipment and driving activities: Workers may be required to, Forklifts, trucks, vans, and other farm equipment during operations as an incidental activity. Before any worker is required to operate any farm equipment, the worker will be instructed in the proper and safe operation of equipment. Workers will be required to operate equipment according to instructions and in a manner, that protects the operator, other workers, trees, crops and equipment.
F. General Clean-Up - Employees will be required to perform duties such as cleaning up the warehouse they are working in
General Laborer Food Safety

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the field supervisor, workers will perform duties such will perform duties such as bin dump operator, case erecting, tote filling, and palletizing. While working as a Piper Mover, you will tend to a variety of tasks that includes but are not limited to; assembling and disassembling irrigation pipe, installing pipe, removing pipe, and other agriculture related tasks.

I. Essential Functions:
a. Treats and exterminates farm areas to eliminate and control rodents
b. Gathers and empties trash.
c. Follows sanitary and pest-control procedures
d. Keeps records of service.
e. Obeys all safety rules and regulations.
f. Comply with all food and farm safety procedures, LGMA and company policies.
g. Equipment Sanitation Employee may be required to sanitize farm equipment such as ATVs, tractors, and trucks and restrooms. This will be done by de-mucking process or a full sanitation and anti-microbial sanitizers. The employee will be required to move the equipment and make a record on the service performed on the cleaning log.
h. Sampling collect samples, knowledge of plant varieties, abide by all safety and food regulations;

Special Requirements

All workers should have at least 3 months experience working as a farmworker. Applicants must be able to furnish affirmative job references from recent employers operating comparable operations establishing acceptable previous experience. Must be physically able to meet and perform all job specifications stated in job order. Must be able to work in the hot humid weather for extended periods of time. Workers are subject to random drug testing post hire at no cost to the employee post hire. Failing or refusing a drug test will result in immediate termination.
