Job description
Logging Tractor Operator/Grapple Skidder Operator:ill be a Logging Tractor Operator, grapple skidder operator. Worker will operate a track or tire mounted grapple skidder. Worker must bunches logs or pulpwood according to specie and size and haul it to roadside and/or yard. Worker must pile logs or pulpwood by specie and size in orderly piles. Must perform minor maintenance daily and repair equipment. Must be in good physical condition and able to work in adverse weather conditions. Must abide by landowner and OSHA regulations. Must have six months referenced, paid production experience as a grapple skidder operator. Must have ability to work, communicate and maintain work performance as a three member team. Communicate" is defined as the ability of worker to use radio equipment in machines to communicate with team members.
Special Requirements
Must abide by landowner and OSHA regulations. Each worker must maintain a level of production standard that will insure that their other team member work is continuous during the harvest period.
