Temporary Seasonal Position: Beekeeper, Helper | SOC Code: 45-2093

All applicants must be able, willing, qualified to perform work described & must be available for entire period.

LL Apiaries LLC, Las Animas, CO, Bent

Possible shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM. 40+ May be possibility of weekend work. Crops: Bees, Bees. Duties may include: Feeding, inspecting, splitting beehives using specific hive tools, smokers, and feeding pumps, create nucleus colonies from existing beehives, move the hives using a forklift, remove honey from hives, building bee related equipment: boxes, frames, lids, and pallets & other related Beekeeper, Helper activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Must have 6 months Bee Keeping experience. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 80lbs (possible 2-person); may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area.80lbs. Tools supplies and equipment provided at no cost to worker. Employer guarantees 3/4 of contract. Work outdoors, exposed to weather, hot or cold; hours may vary (+/-); possible downtimes and/or extended hrs. Dependable: fulfill obligations. Attn. to detail: complete work tasks. Employer provided housing available to those who cannot reasonably return to their residence within the same day. No cell phone use during work hours.

Must be able to obtain a drivers license. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show legal authorization to work in the United States. Cash advances may apply at employer discretion.
