Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

We need seasonal employees to assist with our crop production division of our farming operation. Employees will need to assist with corn, soybeans, and vegetable production. Employees will operate farm equipment including tractors, tractor drawn implements, forklift, skid loader, fertilizing application equipment, etc and will be driving semi-trucks to haul grain. Employees will complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment, run power washing equipment safely to clean farm equipment, adhere to safety requirements when operating equipment and must be able to use mirrors to back up large equipment. Employees will complete general farm duties as assigned including picking rocks in the fields. Employees will need to assist with all aspects of the farming operation starting in the spring with planting, fertilizing the crops during the summer and harvesting and hauling the crop in the fall.

***Please note that August is the earliest date available for 2021. In 2022 we will be adjusting our starting date to cover our entire crop season starting with planting.

Special Requirements

Job requires extensive sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, frequent stooping, repetitive movements, exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures and must be able to lift 50 lbs. We require a regular drivers license and 3 months experience.
