Job description
Prepare, cook, saute, broil such items as seafood, meats, poultry, vegetables, pastas. Reports to sous chef de cuisine. Keeps kitchen areas clean & sanitized. Stores all products in proper locations. 10/1/21-5/15/22. Temporary full time employment. Days vary Monday-Sunday. Rotating shifts 7am-11pm. $15.50/hr-17.50/hour & $23.25-26.25/hr overtime. 35 hours/week. May get up to 10 hours per week overtime when available. Six months experience necessary. Eight positions available. Housing is optional & available for between 22.00-25.00/day. Medical insurance optional at $16.00/week Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. A single workweek will be used to compute wages. Job is temporary full time employment. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging), to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half of the employment period. Employer agrees to reimburse inbound transportation and subsistence expenses (subsistence is $13.17 per day minimum, without receipts, to a maximum of $55 per day, with receipts) from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
