Job description

Take food and beverage order, collect payment from customer. Serve food and beverage and insure that they meet the minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverage. Answer questions from french Canadian patrons. Check on customer to make sure they are enjoying their meals and correct any problems. This seasonal job will pay $13.39 per hour. A single workweek will be used to compute wages. Salary paid biweekly basis. Hours are 7am-2am. 35 hrs week. Rotating, Variable work schedules. Must have 3 months experience required. Employment dates are from 10/10/2021-04/03/2022. Base salary $5.63 per hr plus tips with guaranteed of $13.39. Overtime $8.45 plus tips with guaranteed $20.09/hr. Salary paid guaranteed minimum of $468.65 per wk with combination minimum salary and tips equal or greater than $468.65 per wk. Ability to speak French preferred and must be 18 years old to serve alcohol.
All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa
processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging), to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half of the employment period. Employer agrees to reimburse inbound transportation and subsistence expenses (subsistence is $13.17 per day minimum, without receipts, to a maximum of $55 per day, with receipts) from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the US or abroad, to the place of employment. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
