Agricultural Equipment Operators

Job description

Employee will be operating farm equipment including tractors, planters, grain carts, mowers, etc to complete these duties to harvest seed corn, soybeans, sorghum, and rye. During the summer employee will need to assist with applying fertilizer and spraying the acres as required. We also work on getting hay, silage, and corn ready. During the summer we put our cows and calves in pastures, and they need to be check daily and provided with minerals. Repair and build fences. In July, the bulls are put with the cows. In late August we start with harvesting which takes several months to complete. After harvest is completed, we need employees to haul the harvested crops from fields to storage locations. In November, we pull the cattle form the pasture and they are confined for the winter months. Employee will complete general farm duties as directed.

***Please note that our season normally starts in February and ends in December. All future applications will be filed according to these dates. A July starting date is the earliest available date for 2021.

Special Requirements

Must have a regular drivers license and be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. We require 3 months experience.
