Job description
Workers will be doing all aspects of peanut harvesting in a peanut mill. Workers will be operating a drying machine, which consists of drying peanuts, operating grain elevators and cleaning operators, which consists of operating elevators to store fresh harvested peanuts in a storage bin, and cleaner operators to clean fresh harvested peanuts. Also, workers will be operating tractors to haul harvested peanuts in mill and fields. Other duties may include but not be limited to field maintenance fields. Also, workers will be setting, pulling, and planting onions in onion fields. Other activities may include but not be limited to working in hot, dry, cold, wet, humid, and or rainy conditions. All tools will be provided at no cost to the workers.
Special Requirements
Workers must have good hand/eye coordination. Also workers must be able to be stooped and bent over for extended periods of time. Also workers must be able to withstand exposure to the sun or cold for long periods of
time.
