Livestock Worker

Job description

Job description: Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock, such as cattle: Maintain heated watering system. Operate snow removal equipment in order to operate feed wagons. Mix feed and additives. Fill feed troughs with feed and water for livestock; remove ice formed in water. Maintain buildings and equipment used for livestock. Drive to town to pick up supplies for cattle.

Equipment: Tractors, Loaders, Trucks, Spray Equipment, OHV's

Livestock: Beef Cattle

Special Requirements

Minimum one (1) months experience. Must be able to lift seventy-five (75) pounds. Must have a valid driver's license. Extensive sitting. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Basic literacy and arithmetic requirement. No minimum education required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
