Job description
Workers will operate a company-owned motor vehicle, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintain and complete fuel reports and logbooks. Workers will install, maintain, and monitor trailer panels as well as proper amount of clean bedding. Workers will be required to wash, disinfect, and bake livestock trailers each time a trailer leaves the livestock confinement. On the farm, workers will clean, sanitize, and disinfect tractors, vehicles, and trailers. Workers will remove snow from around the livestock confinements and road on the farm. Workers will also be required to disinfect the snow removal equipment after each use. Workers will be required to remove and transport dead and living livestock. Workers will transport pigs within our production flow while always strictly following animal wellbeing, biosecurity, and safety protocols. 3 months of experience working with livestock. Workers must be able to follow detailed biosecurity protocol. Workers must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds for 75 yards. CDL Class A Drivers License and a clean driving record is required. Winter driving experience required. 2 weeks of training provided.
