Farmworker/laborer

Job description

Assist with daily farm and animal related duties including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment (combines, tractors, trucks, etc.) for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing and harvesting of crops. Maintain/repair machinery. Maintain flood and sprinkler irrigation systems. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities. Minor farm construction projects. Maintain farm grounds/mow/spray weeds. Farm site clean up, scrap iron clean up. Feed, water, herd, catch and load cattle. Haul manure; haul water and feed to cattle. Inspect, maintain and repair buildings, pens, and fences. May maintain records on cattle; examine cattle to detect diseases or injuries; assist in calving; administer medications, vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate. Haul feed and cattle to market.
Crops: wheat, corn, milo, oats, soybeans, hay, sunflowers

30 minute lunch break offered

Special Requirements

Valid driver's license, clean MVR, 3 months experience using farm equipment/machinery and working with cattle
