Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Lubricate, service, and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. May be required to do miscellaneous jobs around the farm.

Equipment: Tractors with and without attached implements; Combines Manual Trucks

Crops: Canola; Corn; Hay; Soy Beans; Sunflower; Wheat

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Certified license is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive sitting is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
