Job description
Assist in various breeding programs including heat detections, pulling for artificial inseminating. Assit in care of cattle to include vaccinating, branding, feeding, treating sick animals. Clean and feed bunks and water troughs, mowing pastures, spraying weeds on building and fence maintenance - baling hay. Must be able to stand on feet for long hours working in hot/cold weather. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (feed and hay), repetitive movements, extensive walking, pushing and pulling. Frequent stooping. Must provide written job histroy for experience requirement. 55-60 hours per week M-Su, work times & schedules vary. Weekdays between 6:00 AM and 5:30 PM, weekends 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Optional advance pay for family emergencies or needs. Payback agreement varies per individual. Optional deduction to repay advances agreed upon between employer and employee. Deductions will not drop the overall wage below the AEWR, if the deductions are too great they will not be made. If meals need to be provided, employees will not be charged.
