Job description

Perform duties like: Assist in live cover breeding. Full watch of pregnant mares. Assist in foaling and foaling aftercare. Administering medications and vaccinations. Handling of live horses of all ages and genders, including young foals. Perform Halter training and sales preparation. Load/unload departing horses or new arrivals. Walk horses. General farm work such as feeding horses, cleaning stalls and barns, repairing and maintaining fences, pastures, barns and farming equipment.

Tractors and gators

Special Requirements

Exposure to extreme temperatures. Repetitive movements. Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to lift sixty (60) pounds. No minimum education required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
